These standards govern everything published on FindsBest — specifications, comparisons, expert scores, and buying advice. They exist so you can trust that what you read is accurate, independent, and consistently applied.
Independence from manufacturers
We buy or independently source the devices we cover. Brands do not pay for coverage, placement, ratings, or favourable wording, and no manufacturer sees a review before it is published.
Specifications are verified, not copied blindly
Specs come from official manufacturer sheets and are cross-checked against the retail unit at launch. Where a manufacturer revises a spec after release, we update the page and note that it changed.
Hands-on testing over spec-sheet claims
Benchmark scores (AnTuTu, PCMark battery life), charging times, and brightness figures reflect our own measurements or clearly-labelled advertised figures — never invented numbers.
Clear affiliate disclosure
Some retailer links earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. This never influences which phones we list, how we score them, or what we write. Commercial content, if any, is always labelled.
Corrections are a priority, not an afterthought
Found an error? Tell us via the contact form. Factual corrections are typically live within 24 hours, and significant changes are noted on the page.
Ratings follow a consistent rubric
Expert scores use the same category weights (design, display, camera, performance, battery, software) across every device, so a 4.2 on one phone means the same as a 4.2 on another.
